The Twilight of the Golds
(1997, 92 min, United States, Ross Kagan Marks)
Ever wonder what the world will be like when we will be able to know if a baby will be born gay or lesbian? This film deals with that issue. When Suzanne (Jennifer Beals) and Rob Stein (Jon Tenney) find out their unborn son has the genetic makeup for homosexuality, they consider abortion. David (Brendan Fraser), Suzanne's younger gay brother, shuns the couple for even considering this. As a strong, well-adjusted gay man, he stands as a good role model on this issue. His parents Walter (Garry Marshall) and Phyllis (Faye Dunaway) are the typical Jewish parents. Add to this star-studded cast, John Schlesinger and Rosie O'Donnell.
